Did you hear NASA wanted to study the effects of the moon on an aging individual, so they decided to resend Armstrong. Unfortunately, they canceled this because they were afraid the first words from the moon in 30 years would be:

"Houston? I have fallen, and I can't get up."

NASA's Mars rover "Curiosity" lifted off today on a two-year mission to Mars looking for signs of potential life. If successful, "Curiosity" will next look for signs of life with Mitt Romney. (Janice Hough)

A new photo from one of Saturn's moons shows it may have all the elements necessary for life. Isn't that cool? Isn't that great? Yeah, the three elements found there were nitrogen, methane and Red Bull. (Conan O'Brien)

This is pretty weird. Earlier this month, two men successfully launched a can of beer into space. I guess that's why one astronaut was like, (Slurred) "Houston, I love you, man." (Jimmy Fallon)

NASA launched the Curiosity rover on a nine-month flight to Mars Saturday. The two-armed robot on four wheels will roll across the Red Planet looking for the chemical ingredients necessary for life. This time of year those two ingredients are sugar and cable. (Argus Hamilton)

The Mayans may be predicting the world will end next year, but NASA is going on record as saying it won't. I've never known a government agency to be wrong before, as long as you don't include yesterday's weather forecast. (Frank King)

Astronomers have come up with a livability index for alien planets and moons. Some good news for Sprint customers is that going to live on another planet won't make any difference because the company doesn't offer a signal there, either. Jim Barach

Scientists are working on technology that could fuel a rocket with urine. Knowing this technology would one day be available answers the question as to why most astronauts are men. (Jim Barach)

A German satellite path is supposed to crash to Earth this weekend at over 17,098 mph. It could be the fastest most spectacular fall since Rick Perry's post first-debate poll numbers. (Janice Hough)
